Volunteer to lead Worship Service at the Bowery Mission

If you want to provide vital ministry in the NYC area, take time to volunteer to lead worship at the Bowery Mission (227 Bowery between Delancey and East Houston). The NYC Council of Presbyterian Men and the Lay Pastors are working to find volunteers to serve as preachers (Men) and liturgists (LP) on the third Monday of each month from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM.

Coney Island Bialys and Bagels, a historic bagel shop in New York City, was almost toast when two Pakistani men rescued it. Zafaryab Ali and Peerzada Shah, both Muslim, say they plan to keep the shop kosher. "Kosher and halal is very, very close, like brother and sister, maybe twins," Ali says.
